The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 21,461 elementary teachers out of 68,442 examinees (31.36%) and 34,010 secondary teachers out of 81,463 examinees (41.75%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 27, 2015 in Hong Kong and 26 testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 21,461 elementary teacher passers, 20,145 are first timers and 1,316 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 29,443 passers are first timers and 4,567 are repeaters.

The LET Exam has two (2) subjects for Elementary: General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%). There are three (3) subjects for Secondary: General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

The expected release date of the LET Exam results is November 27, 2015 which is 43 working days after the last day of examination. This is based on PRC Resolution No. 2014-874.

However, this could vary slightly depending on actual situation and also in case of inclement weather. This is likely to be pushed out a few days because of the APEC summit in Manila in November during which there are special non-working holidays.

There are also reports that the results will come out on the 16th or 17th of November.

The September 2015 LET exam was conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission or PRC and the Board of Professional Teachers composed of Chairman Dr. Rosita L. Navarro and Board Members Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.

The September 2015 LET exam was held in various testing centers throughout the country.
